Frequently asked questions
Can I still find a hotel for the period?
Yes, but demand is concentrated from late October to mid-November, in Dakar as in Diamniadio. Send us your dates as soon as you know them: we search our network, including nearby districts and the Petite Côte, and we arrange the transfers.
How do I get to Diamniadio from the airport?
By road, in about a quarter of an hour. The TER also links the airport to Diamniadio, with a train every 24 minutes: check the time of the last departure if you arrive late.
Should I stay in Dakar, Diamniadio or Saly?
As close as possible to your main venue. Diamniadio avoids entering Dakar; the Plateau and the Corniche suit a programme in the city; the Petite Côte suits a longer stay with free days.
Is the TER enough for a group?
For travellers with little luggage, yes. For a delegation with luggage and equipment, plan a coach, or the train for people and a vehicle for luggage.
How much does your service cost?
Requesting proposals costs you nothing, and no commission is added to suppliers' prices. You pay for services directly to the professionals you choose.
Hotel, transport company, agency?
Visitors for the period write to us; we pass their requests on to the verified professionals in our network. Tell us your availability from 31 October to 13 November.
